NEW PLLA MASK UPDATE:
What I've learned about using this
mask...
Since
doing this video, I've used the new
Hydra Velvet PLLA mask a couple of
additional times and I've discovered
a couple of things:
The first time I followed
directions (as I'm apt to do) and
left it on 20 minutes. The
result? Good, not amazing, but my
skin was soft, brighter (noticeably)
and very smooth. Good overall mask.
The second time I left it on
a little longer - about 25 minutes. I
felt this gave an even better result
and I really noticed a
firmness/smoothness.
Two days later I did another
one and left it on about 35-40
minutes. Wow!
Quel difference! I really noticed my
lines filled in and my skin was much
firmer...for a full 48 hour (and
counting).
Moral of the story... While
this mask can be a great quick
pick-me-up, I'd strongly suggest
doing it when you have more time and
leave it on a minimum of 30 minutes.
Also,
if you can do a
series treatment of 2 or more during
a short interval, like 3 in one
week, you'll see much more
significant results.
Last tip: I
suggest that you do NOT wash your
face for at least 12-24 hours after
using it. Since it has the same PLLA
(poly-l-lactic-acid) component as
the Sculplla mask and Cavi Plla
serum, it's recommended to leave it
on as long as possible to get the
benefits.
Finally, this mask has a LOT
of serum in it (and
even left over in the pouch) so be
sure to scoop it all up and use it
on your neck/dec/hands.
I
kept dipping into the pouch after
the mask was used and adding to my
hands and they are much
less crepey and smooth (3
days later).

and smooth 3 days after the last
mask!
